Schotia is a private reserve bordering Addo with a long-established lion population, run as a small-group game drive rather than a self-drive park loop.
Roughly 55 minutes' transfer each way and about four hours on a guided drive in an open vehicle; around six hours all in, with pickup in Gqeberha.
Local tip: The meeting point is outside the harbour gate rather than inside, so allow time to find the waiting minibuses.
