Museum Cafe 8

Museum Cafe 8

A social enterprise cafe run by The Nesbitt Centre, a Hong Kong charity supporting adults with learning disabilities. The cafe provides vocational hospitality training and paid employment for people with special educational needs, who work front of house alongside supervising staff. It occupies the roof level of the Hong Kong Maritime Museum at Central Pier 8, with an outdoor terrace facing Victoria Harbour towards Tsim Sha Tsui and the passing Star Ferries. The menu covers coffee, cakes, sandwiches and light Western meals, and the cafe opens daily. The space can also be booked for private events, with proceeds funding the training and employment programme. Central MTR station and the ferry piers are within a short walk.
