Saipin Chutima's northern Thai restaurant opened in 1999 in the Commercial Center strip mall on East Sahara and built a reputation that reached far beyond Nevada. The Sahara premises closed in 2020 and the restaurant traded elsewhere before returning to its original address in May 2026 with a menu drawn from its earlier years. The cooking is Isaan and northern Thai rather than the sweeter Bangkok repertoire familiar in Britain: nam prik ong, sai ua sausage, crispy rice salad, khao soi, with heat calibrated on request. The wine list, particularly its German and Alsatian rieslings, is unusually deep for a strip-mall restaurant. Booking is advisable. Commercial Center itself repays a look, being one of the oldest surviving shopping centres in the city.
