KCC Farmers’ Market

The Hawaii Farm Bureau's Saturday market, held in the morning in a car park on the Diamond Head slope at Kapiolani Community College. More than a hundred stalls sell produce grown on Oahu and the neighbour islands, Asian greens, tomatoes, papaya and lychee in season, alongside honey, coffee, macadamia nuts, cut flowers and a substantial run of cooked food, from Hawaiian plate lunches to Vietnamese street food and shellfish grilled to order. It is genuinely a food market rather than a craft fair, and residents shop here as heavily as visitors do. Free parking is available in the adjacent college lots, and the market is a walk uphill from the Diamond Head end of Waikiki. It runs in most weather and is over by late morning.
