The Sphere is a spherical venue on the east side of the Las Vegas Strip, wrapped internally by a 16K LED display covering roughly 160,000 square feet. The Sphere Experience pairs a pre-show in the Atrium, where humanoid robots, a large holographic display and machine-learning artwork are shown, with a screening in the main auditorium. The current feature is a reimagined presentation of the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, remastered for the curved screen and played through the venue's beamforming sound system. Haptic seating and environmental effects such as wind and scent accompany the film. The whole visit runs to roughly 75 minutes. Entry is via the Plaza on the building's east side, reached from Sands Avenue or the pedestrian bridge from The Venetian.
