The House of Elephant hides behind an unassuming door on Zand Street, reputedly Shiraz's oldest street, inside a mansion pushing 260 years old. Rooms are named for the historical eras they represent, and it is an easy walk to Vakil Bazaar, Vakil Mosque and Naranjestan-e Ghavam.
Local tip: Have a coffee on the rooftop before heading out to the bazaar.
