Karim Khan Zand built this bathhouse around 1765, and it operated as a working hammam for generations before becoming a ticketed museum. The octagonal entrance hall is topped by a dome resting on eight carved columns, with small glass discs in the ceiling that once let in just enough daylight to bathe by.
Local tip: Wax figures now stand in for the bathers and attendants, recreating scenes of massage, washing and cupping through the chambers.
