El Búho Eatery is built into a fully restored 16th-century property just off Calle El Conde, with two air-conditioned lounges and a covered colonial garden patio doing very different moods under one roof. The kitchen mixes Caribbean and international plates – red snapper, ceviche, grilled meats – and leans into fresh seafood more than most of its neighbours.
Live music features regularly, so it's worth checking what's on before you book if that's part of the draw.
Local tip: The garden patio is the pick of the three spaces on a warm evening.
