Los Lompolo's Grill & Chill is a tiny, walk-ins-only grill bar tucked into Äkäslompolo, serving burritos, pitas and burgers with a Lappish twist – the deer pita and loaded nachos are local favourites, along with homemade hot sauces.
It's the only kitchen in the village open past 11pm, which makes it the default stop after the bars and slopes close for the night.
Local tip: No reservations – it's small, so expect to wait a few minutes at peak times.
