Gauja is a little bar reminiscent of a typical Soviet apartment. Everything inside is from the 60s and 70s, including the board games and magazines. Slip into this little slice of bohemia that has been around for over 40 years.
It's a history lesson and great bar at the same time. The devoted young people opened this place inspired from the Soviet buffets that were in the area before. No sad nostalgia though, instead of a bust of Lenin you'll get local poems.
Local tip: Try our beloved Brenguļu beer there.
