A hidden scout-run café and cultural space on the first floor of a historic building right by the Astronomical Clock — look for the golden door. Volunteers built the wooden interior, and the menu is refreshingly cheap for the Old Town: homemade lemonades, cakes, and possibly the cheapest Czech beer on the square (around 35 CZK). Come for a quiet coffee among the bookshelves, or catch one of the free public talks, workshops and summer film nights.
While you’re in the city, pair it with a Prague food tour with 10 Czech tastings.
