One of Curitiba’s best-loved green spaces — a vast 1.4-million-m² park built around a lake, with forests, jogging and cycling trails, sports courts, a skating rink and picnic and barbecue spots. Its most famous residents are the capybaras (the world’s largest rodents), which lounge around the lakeshore and are a guaranteed hit with kids. Free and open daily, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxed walk, a bike ride or a bit of urban wildlife-watching.
