Boston Public Garden and Swan Boats in Boston Massachusetts

Back Bay  •  ★ 4.7  •  $

Established in 1837 as America’s first public botanical garden, the Public Garden sits beside Boston Common in a blaze of seasonal planting and Victorian charm. Its lagoon is home to the famous pedal-powered Swan Boats and the beloved Make Way for Ducklings bronze statues. Ride a Swan Boat between April and September, and bring the children to say hello to the duckling sculptures.
