What’s actually there
The market has traded since 2009 in a covered space in Rione Monti. Stalls carry work by young Italian designers alongside vintage clothing, handmade jewellery, illustrated prints and second-hand records – and the roster of traders rotates week to week, so what you find on one visit won’t be there the next.
Where it sits
Rione Monti, the neighbourhood around the market, is one of the more rewarding parts of central Rome for independent shopping in its own right, with vintage dealers and small boutiques concentrated along Via del Boschetto, Via Urbana and Via dei Serpenti, plus a dense run of bars and trattorias for afterwards.

It’s a short walk from the Colosseum, or a couple of minutes from Cavour station on Metro line B.
