Catania’s grand historic public garden, named after the city’s own composer Vincenzo Bellini and one of the oldest urban parks in Sicily. Just off Via Etnea, its tree-lined avenues, palm groves, ornamental ponds, bandstand and flower-bed calendar make a leafy, shady escape from the busy streets — popular with families, joggers and locals out for a stroll. Free and open daily; lovely for a picnic or a pause between sights.
