Bobby’s Bike Hike is a long-established Chicago tour operator based in Streeterville, at the base of a building on North Lake Shore Drive close to Navy Pier and Ohio Street Beach. It runs guided bicycle tours of the city and has added walking and food tours as well as kayak and paddleboard hire. Cycling itineraries cover the lakefront path, the Loop and the north-side neighbourhoods; food tours concentrate on Chicago staples such as deep-dish pizza and Italian beef, and on Chinatown. Tours are led by local guides, run daily through the warmer months and are booked online in advance, with bicycles, helmets and locks supplied. The shop is a short walk from Grand station on the CTA Red Line.
