About Galway

Small university city on the west coast of Ireland. Part of The Wild Atlantic Way tour and generally referred to as a gateway to Connemara. A soon to become a bi-lingual city, Galway is a hub for all things artsy. With festivals taking places nearly every month of the year, from music to food, as well as the internationally awarded arts' festival, Galway is a great place for a holiday. Famous in Ireland for its hen and stag parties (bachelor and bachelorette), Galway is equally well equipped for families with museums, canal walks, blue flag beaches, playgrounds and parks. There's literally something for everyone.
