Architect Jordan Mozer reworked a former iron foundry off the Reeperbahn into curving brick-and-timber interiors that leave the old structure on show.
Stay in a loft-style room, eat sushi and grilled fish in the east restaurant, then drink cocktails in Yakshi's Bar or out on the terrace.
Local tip: Restaurant and bar are open to non-residents, so the vaulted foundry room is worth a look even if you sleep elsewhere.
