Hotel Ylläsrinne is one of the longest-running hotels on the Ylläsjärvi side of the resort, built into the hillside with its own restaurant, bar and event space rather than just a place to sleep. It's a popular base for groups because of the range of room types, from simple doubles up to deluxe suites.
The hotel's restaurant and lounge double as one of the area's dance-and-live-music venues on winter evenings, so it has more going on after dark than most of the smaller hotels nearby.
Local tip: Book the Deluxe rooms if you want the fell view – the standard rooms face the car park and access road.
