Hotel Pod Różą

Hotel Pod Różą

Hotel Pod Różą occupies a Renaissance townhouse on Floriańska Street, roughly 200 metres from the Main Market Square and on the Royal Route linking St Florian’s Gate to the square. The building was once the residence of Prospero Provana, and the hotel describes itself as the oldest in Kraków, with a guest list that has included Tsar Alexander I, Franz Liszt and Honoré de Balzac. Rooms and apartments are individually designed and were refurbished in a major renovation completed in 2020. The former palace courtyard, now glazed over, houses Restauracja Pod Różą, serving Polish and Mediterranean cooking. A wellness and spa area sits in the medieval cellars, alongside a wine bar and conference space.
