A record shop at the eastern end of Fremont Street, opened in 2015, dealing in new and second-hand vinyl across rock, soul, jazz, hip-hop and punk, with a strong local and regional section. The building also houses a small recording studio and rehearsal space, and the shop stages in-store performances and takes part in Record Store Day. Stock turns over at a reasonable rate and prices are more forgiving than in comparable shops in larger cities. The premises sit within the Fremont East district, a few doors from bars and cafes, with a modest frontage that is easy to walk past. Staff will play records from the racks on request. It is a useful starting point for the city's music scene beyond the residency shows.
