Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace

A hotel of roughly 180 rooms occupying its own tower within Caesars Palace, opened in 2013 as the first property of the Nobu hospitality group. Rooms are designed in a restrained Japanese idiom of timber screens, low furniture and muted greys, which reads as unusually calm against the marble and mythology of the surrounding resort. Guests have a separate entrance, lobby and check-in desk, along with in-room dining from the Nobu restaurant downstairs. Because it sits inside Caesars, occupants retain access to the pools, casino and the Forum Shops without going outdoors. It is a workable compromise for anyone who wants a central Strip address at the midpoint of the boulevard but finds the scale and noise of the large resorts wearing.
