The STRAT Tower stands at the northern end of Las Vegas Boulevard and is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States. The observation deck sits at 1,149 feet and comprises an enclosed, climate-controlled level with floor-to-ceiling glass and an open-air level above it, both giving a 360-degree outlook over the Las Vegas valley, the Strip corridor, Downtown and the surrounding desert ranges. Viewfinders are mounted around the perimeter for picking out individual landmarks. Food and drink are available on the tower levels, and the deck is reached by high-speed lift from the casino floor. Admission tickets are valid for the selected day. The thrill rides and SkyJump on the upper decks are ticketed separately and are not part of standard deck admission.
