Riyam Park is a small waterfront park best known for the giant incense-burner monument that has become one of Muscat's most photographed landmarks, built to mark Oman's 20th National Day. The park itself has gardens, a small children's play area and shaded seating with harbour views.
Local tip: The burner lights up at night, which is the best time to see it against the harbour and hillside.
