The Mutrah Corniche is a long waterfront promenade curving along the harbour past the souq, the fish market and Mutrah Fort, with the incense-burner monument at Riyam Park visible at its eastern end. It's the classic evening walk in Muscat, especially once the heat breaks after sunset.
Local tip: Walk it in the evening when the harbour lights and the fort are lit up — midday heat makes it far less pleasant.
