National Museum of Norway Entry Ticket

The National Museum, opened in its vast new home by the waterfront in 2022, is the largest art museum in the Nordics and the place to stand before Edvard Munch most famous painting, The Scream. Its collections sweep from antiquity to contemporary design across airy, well-lit galleries, topped by the glowing Light Hall used for changing exhibitions. Allow at least half a day, book a timed ticket in advance, and head straight for the Munch rooms before the crowds gather.
