Join me for a tasty picnic by the Seine! After admiring the city from the top of the Institut du Monde Arabe (Arab World Institute), we’ll sit by the River and enjoy some good cheese, wine and conversation.

A day before my ex tempore weekend in Paris, I was offered a 2 hour pic nic on the banks of river Seine. It sounded fun, and fun it really was! Antonio was happy and helpful, the wine&cheese was great and I met a lovely couple from USA. What a great way to spend a sunny afternoon on the banks of Seine!!

Description

Whenever the weather allows, Parisians love to sit by the River Seine and enjoy good food, good wine and good company. This is something I’d like to share with you!

Our first stop will be the rooftop of the Institut du Monde Arabe to admire the city from above. We’ll then head to the River to enjoy some fine wine, cheese, bread and a little something extra.

You should feel free to ask as many questions as you like. I’ll try my best to help you enjoy the rest of your stay in an authentic Parisian way!

If the weather is cold or rainy, we’ll picnic indoors after our stroll.

Anto is a nice fellow with excellent English and a passion for Paris. It was a delightful two and a half hours chatting to him on the banks of the Seine while enjoying bread and cheese and wine.

Anto is by far the best tour guide we have ever encountered. His passion for Paris, humor, and joie de vivre made our vacation unforgettable. After spending 2 hours with us on our lovely picnic, he left to lead a bike tour but still found time that night to send us a detailed email on sites and resources for the rest of our week.
