About Penang

Penang is a Malaysia state and also an island in northern Peninsular Malaysia. Penang island and mainland is separated by Northern and Southern Channels. The capital of Penang is George Town, which has awarded a UNESCO World City Heritage along with Malacca on 7 July 2008. Penang state has about 1,048 km square. When normal folks say about Penang, it normally means Penang island. Penang has achieved a few top ranking one of the best street foods (assam laksa, prawn noodle (commonly known to the local as hokkien mee) and etc), sister and brother on bicycle mural (ranked in top 5 list by UK the Guardian) and many more.
