Southern Thai cooking from chef Chutatip Suntaranon, who opened the restaurant in the Italian Market in 2019 and moved it to a much larger Fishtown space in November 2022. The name is her mother’s. The menu leans on the sharper, more chilli-driven register of Thailand’s south, with curries, whole fish and southern-style stir fries meant to be shared, backed by a full bar and cocktails. Suntaranon won the James Beard award for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic in 2023, the restaurant took Outstanding Restaurant in 2026, and it appeared on the New York Times list of the fifty best American restaurants. Booking well ahead is essential.
