For a decade this seven-storey tower was the smart business hotel on the Panaméricaine, built in the post-earthquake wave of investment in Pétion-Ville.
It closed at the end of October 2019 and the building was later bought by the Haitian state to house a government ministry.
Good to know: Worth knowing purely so you do not try to book it; the listing persists on several travel sites.
