When you feel like skipping the chaos of Piazza di Spagna and Via del Corso, simply take a walk along the quiet Via Margutta. This narrow street takes you back in time to an era when Federico Fellini and Giulietta Masina called it home.
This historic street has a decadent yet gloomy charm. Come here for a pleasant stroll past ancient buildings, art galleries and fashionable restaurants. Once a year it’s transformed into an open-air gallery with paintings, drawings and watercolours lining the street.
For the open-air exhibition, look out for “I Cento Pittori di via Margutta" (One Hundred Painters of via Margutta).
