Belmont Park is a seafront amusement park at Mission Beach, opened in 1925 and best known for the Giant Dipper, a wooden roller coaster of that year which is a National Historic Landmark and still operating. The Unlimited Ride and Play Pass covers twelve rides for a full day, among them the Beach Blaster pendulum, the Vertical Plunge drop tower, a tilt-a-whirl and several family attractions. The main ticket booth stands opposite the Giant Dipper. Height and weight restrictions apply to individual rides. Parking is free. The park sits directly behind the boardwalk between Mission and Pacific beaches, and the arcade, escape rooms and midway games are charged separately from the ride pass.
