Persa Bio Bío is Santiago's biggest flea market, thousands of stalls sprawling through the streets around Barrio Franklin selling everything from vintage leather jackets to record players and secondhand tools. It's chaotic, unpolished and exactly what a flea market should be.
Go on a weekend morning when it's at full size, and combine it with lunch at one of the nearby churrasco grills in Barrio Franklin.
Local tip: Keep bags zipped and valuables out of sight — it's crowded and pickpockets work the busiest aisles.
