Shah Cheragh is one of Iran's most important Shia shrines, and entry is free, day or night. Step inside and the interior glitters with mirror-tile work, a dazzling effect especially once the lights come up in the evening.
Local tip: Modest dress is required, women are usually given a chador at the entrance, and photography is restricted inside, so leave your shoes at the door and go with the flow.
