Tregu Zdrale is a large market in the Zdrale district of Shkoder, an area that has served as a trading quarter for roughly three centuries. It has long sold fresh produce, meat and fish alongside clothing and household goods, and has been among the cheapest places in the city to shop. Between 2023 and 2025 the municipality and the Albanian Development Fund rebuilt the market at a cost of around 3.2 million euros, covering Hamz Kazazi Street and the lanes around the Parruce Mosque. Roughly 280 traders worked there before the works began. The scheme replaced the older structures with new multi-storey buildings holding about 95 units for clothing, food, fish, meat and cafes, repaved the pedestrian streets and restored the surrounding shopfronts under a single colour scheme. The market therefore looks substantially different from its pre-2023 form, and older accounts of its layout no longer apply. It is within walking distance of the centre of Shkoder.
