Dalmare

Dalmare is an out-of-town shopping and leisure centre on the southern edge of Sibenik, around five kilometres from the historic centre, which opened in 2009 with roughly 33,000 square metres of leasable space and parking for 1,200 vehicles. Anchor tenants include a Konzum supermarket and a CineStar multiplex with five screens showing current releases, including 3D presentations. Fashion and lifestyle retailers on site include H&M, Mango, Nike, Levi's, New Yorker, Tom Tailor and CCC, alongside the dm drugstore chain, Jysk for home goods and a McDonald's. It is the only large shopping development in Sibenik-Knin County and draws custom from local residents and from visitors staying at nearby coastal resorts such as Vodice and Solaris. The centre occupies a single large retail floor with covered parking. It is not part of Sibenik's historic core but is where residents run errands, see a film and meet for coffee, which makes it useful on a wet day or for supplies before heading along the coast.
