The adorable capital of the small,sunny, southern country of Macedonia.Let me tell you right away-if you decide to visit it,do not be fulled by everything it has to show in the chaotic city center.Instead try to find locals (which is easy to do since we are so worm and welcoming)let them talk you through the city's history-it's eventful,unique and interesting. Let them show you the way of life, for that is the reason why Skopje is so special.Drinking coffee in the never ending sun, eating gorgeous Macedonian food, drinking famous Macedonian wine, exploring all of those hidden places, which sometimes even locals cannot find.Come and enjoy the crowded center by day, and than let loose at some underground music event when the sun goes down or even take a day off hiking or canoeing just half an hour away from the center.Come if you want to see a city which probably never crossed your mind, but is out here waiting for people to experience it!
