Thirteen old buildings set out as a working homestead, showing Sámi and settler life in Sodankylä and Sompio in the early 1900s.
An open-air site where the Kitinen and Jeesiöjoki meet, about 2 km from the centre. Entry is free and guided tours can be arranged.
Local tip: Summer only, June to August, Tuesday to Sunday, noon to 6pm. The small shop sells ice cream and local handicraft.
