The Swing Society is Sofia's home of vintage swing — a friendly, welcoming community and dance school on a mission to spread the joy of 1920s-to-1950s jazz dance and culture. They run weekly Lindy Hop classes from absolute-beginner level upward, along with tap and other swing styles, plus regular social dances and parties around the city.
No partner and no experience are needed — the beginner Lindy Hop sessions start from the very basics, and the socials are where you put it into practice. It is an easy, high-spirits way to meet locals and tap into a scene that also throws the annual Sofia Swing Dance Festival.
