Skradinski Buk's terraced falls make the easiest big-nature day from Split, with boardwalks over the travertine and a boat ride down to Skradin.
A coach runs out to Krka with a guide, you walk the falls trail at your own pace, then take the boat to Skradin with time to swim before heading back.
Local tip: Park entry is not included and is paid at the meeting point, so bring euros in cash with you on the day.
