Start the morning with being picked up at your central Stockholm accommodation. Seat yourself with maximum of 16 guests in total. This is a personal and very small group tour. It is almost like a private tour but at an affordable price.
Head out into the Swedish countryside with its beautiful forest and less touched land. See red cottages and farms sweeping by!
First, stop a Viking grave-field where archaeologists have done more than 8 years of excavations! Hear in detail about one of the found skeletons, a Viking woman called Esrid.
Second, see the reconstructed Jarlabanki's bro. A viking causeway from the 11th century.
Third, visit the 1000-year old Viking assembly site "Arkils tingstad" in Vallentuna. Learn about the how society was ruled. Go also to the medieval Vallentuna Church.
Lunch stop after the church, at own expense.
Last, walk the cutest town of Sweden, Sigtuna. It holds 3 medieval stone church ruins and 1 brick church ruin within its border. Go down to the main street who originates from the Viking town and still has 18th-century houses as active shops.
After your Sigtuna visit, head back to Stockholm with your group.
