Espinas Palace Hotel opened in 2015 in Sa’adat Abad, among the affluent northern districts of Tehran, and is one of the taller hotel buildings in the city at twenty-one storeys. Roughly 400 rooms and suites fill the tower, with upper floors looking north towards the Alborz mountains and south across the city. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and spa, a fitness centre, extensive conference and banqueting halls and round-the-clock room service. Dining is divided between Latoon, which serves Iranian and international dishes, and Diba, which concentrates on traditional Persian cooking. The setting suits travellers with business in the north of the city; the Grand Bazaar and the central museums lie a considerable drive south.
