Barbakanas Bastion
Why locals love it
This is a very popular place for meeting friends. One one side you can see the remains of the bastion and just a couple of metres away there's an amazing view of the Old Town and the Užupis district. And while we don't encourage drinking in public, it's quite nice to have a small drink here.
Why you should visit it
There's not a whole lot left of the 16th century Vilnius city wall, and Barbakanas is the one place where you can admire some remains. As it's on a hill you can also enjoy great views of the city.
Special tip
The view from Barbakanas hill at sunset is really amazing.
