Although this is the the main Orthodox shrine in Lithuania with the only monastery in country what really drives us here is a glass tomb in a middle of the church. There you can see three mummies covered with cloth. Those are the remains of orthodox saints - John, Eustatius and Anthony.

A traditional story says that these three monks were killed in 14th century meaning that the remains are older than 600 hundred years! Although on regular day you can see only three pairs of little feet sticking out of the cloth it still looks quite impressive and a little bit creepy.
Orthodox churches have more strict rules than catholic so behave in a very modest manner and be aware of grumpy faces of service staff.
