Nowadays we live in heaven compared to life during and after the war – KGB times. After visiting this museum people start to appreciate life and opportunities much more than before.
Why you should visit it
Used both by Nazis and Soviets for planning their atrocities against Lithuanian citizens, this place certainly resonates with the locals. It was also once a prison and many political prisoners met their end here. Today it's a dark reminder of the terrors of Totalitarianism.

There's lots of information to read and lots of thing to see. Make sure you're not in a hurry as it might take up to three hours!
