The social dimension is substantive: a fixed share of profits funds the MJF Charitable Foundation, which works on education, disability services and support for plantation communities, and Dilmah Conservation, which runs biodiversity and environmental projects. The lounge serves a long list of single-estate and blended teas hot and iced, plus tea-infused mocktails, pastries and light meals, and sells loose leaf to take away.
