An independent boutique on Nuuanu Avenue selling clothing designed by Roberta Oaks in Honolulu and made in small runs, most of it in her own prints. The aloha shirts are the best-known part of the range, a slimmer cut than the standard resort shape, in cotton and rayon, but the shop also carries dresses, separates, and jewellery and accessories from other island makers. It has been in Chinatown since 2007 and formed part of the district's shift from wholesale premises to small independent retail. The building is a converted early-twentieth-century storefront. Neighbouring blocks hold Native Books, antique dealers and galleries, which makes the stretch between Nuuanu and Bethel the most rewarding part of Honolulu for browsing shops that exist nowhere else.
