A long day trip of about fifteen hours crossing from Nevada into northern Arizona by air-conditioned coach with onboard Wi-Fi. The principal stop is Antelope Canyon near Page, a narrow sandstone slot canyon on Navajo land, visited with a Navajo guide who explains its formation and the light conditions that shape photography there. The itinerary also takes in Horseshoe Bend, a meander of the Colorado River viewed from a clifftop overlook reached by a short walk from the car park. Navajo Nation permit fees and canyon admissions are included, as is a boxed lunch with water. Pickup is from several points along the Strip, with Treasure Island as the default. Departures are early in the morning and the return is late evening.
