Baba Koohi's tomb sits on the hillside above the Sang-e Siah neighbourhood, close to the Quran Gate, marking the resting place of an eleventh-century Sufi mystic who spent much of his life in prayer in a cave on this mountain. There is no ticket and no queue, just a short climb up from the streets below.
Local tip: What draws most visitors now is the view: the whole of Shiraz spreads out beneath you, especially striking at sunset.
