A sleek rooftop bar on the 32nd floor of the EAST hotel in Taikoo, and one of Hong Kong Island’s best-value skyline perches. The long terrace looks out over Kowloon Bay and the harbour, the cocktails are inventive (try the planetary-themed ‘SS Journey’ list) and there are Asian-inspired share plates to go with. It’s an after-work favourite — tables inside can be booked, but the terrace edge is walk-in, so arrive around 5:30pm for a sunset spot.
